This 35sqm extension was commissioned by a private client with a desire to upgrade their traditional semi detached home to meet their current and future needs. The client wanted the extension to blend with the existing house both in appearance and function.  

 

The traditional extension is constructed of red brick, pebble dash rendered blockwork and concrete roof tiles to match the original house. Internally a modern free flowing space has been introduced which opens out into the garden through folding sliding doors. Modernisation of this house included the installation of an integrated sound and vision system and electrically operated rooflights.

 

The extension has become the heart of the home and enjoyed by the family and their friends.
